Finally an AI companion app that does not treat anime archetypes as a joke or a surface aesthetic. The tsundere character actually does the thing - gets defensive when you get too close, has moments where it slips up and shows it cares, references the same internal logic the archetype always has. The community characters are where the real depth is though. Someone created a whole character based on a niche light novel I love and the AI had enough context to actually discuss the source material. No Android app is a pain, I am on mobile web which is fine but not ideal.
